Big and furnished basement room for rent in Virum. It is for 1 person only. Please note that the room has a window but that there is no view. It is close to DTU / Lyngby / Holte. TRANSPORTATION: The train station “Virum Station” is 700 meters from the house (10 minutes walk). From there you can take a direct train (S-train) to the center of Copenhagen. It takes 22 minutes to “Nørreport st.” and 26 minutes to “København H” (Cph.). Normally, the train leaves every 10 minutes. There is also a direct bus to eg DTU; the Danish Technical University; or you can bike there in about 10 minutes (3km). Textilskolen in Holte is 2,5km away. THE ROOM: Your room is furnished with: A double bed (140 cm x 200 cm), a desk with chair, dresser, bookcase, curtain, lamps, mirror, and a laundry bin. There is also a duvet, pillow, bedlinen, and towels ready for you:) I also have a bike that you can borrow. In the basement you share the bathroom, the mini kitchen, and the entrance. There is wifi and free access to washer and dryer (washing room is also in the basement. (The basement also has a storage room). The mini kitchen in the basement is equiped with: Fridge with small freezer, microwave, mini-oven, water boiler, a gas cooking plate, all kitchen utensils (plates, pots, pan, and more), a coffee maker, a toaster, and a dining table with chairs. There is a sink for doing dishes. However, the mini kitchen is best suited for ocaccionally and ‘basic’ cooking as there is eg. only one cooking plate and the cooking ventilation is not optimal. I expect that we all clean after ourselves, that you do not mind sorting your trash, and that we all participate in taking turns cleaning the common areas:) You may of course keep your room as you wish;) You may rent the room for 1-24 months. IMPORTANT :) * We have two (friendly) cats in the house. Preferably, you like cats:) Rent per month is 3500 DKK and another 500 DKK for electricity, heat/gas, water and wifi. You can choose to be "private" or we can have a cup of tea / coffee or a shared meal sometimes if you want. We will also be happy to help with practical issues. THE AREA: We are close to beautiful green surroundings including forest and lakes with nice running routes. You will find a fitnessX center 600meters away. You may get fresh air and sun in our garden. There is a grill and a sitting area. There is parking in front of the house and we have easy access to the highway network. The nearest supermarket is 600 metres away (10 minutes walk). There are four supermarkets close to the house; and three more if you walk 15 minutes. Also, you can find a bakery, farmacy and several restaurants near by. YOU: *Student or full time working. Non-smoker. (Smoking is not allowed in the house or in our garden). Not allergic to cats. *No need for cooking or listening to loud music after 22:00 (10pm). US: We are a relatively "boring" and quiet family of mom, two girls (16yr. at home + 17yr. that study abroad), and two cats :) Occationally, we practice the piano. It is preferred if you do not need cpr registration. EG EU citizens that stay up to 3 months or if the visit their home country after 3 months.
