We are two people (1M/1F), a one-eyed cat and an empty room that might have your name on it ;) We are both around 30 y/o, and looking for someone respectful, friendly and tidy to join our hyggelig home. The vacant room is 10m2, with an inbuilt 140cm bed, and additional furniture is available but optional. It is on the first floor and has a window facing west towards the park on the other side of the road. The house is 183m2 spread over three floors, with a large kitchen and living room, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, 2 extra rooms, a south-facing terrace, a pergola and a 500m2 permaculture garden. It is located in Amager's central villakvarter, a short walk to Sundbyvesterplads/ Amagerbrogade, and 10 minutes by bike to central Copenhagen, Amager strand, and Vesterbro's meatpacking district, and an 8 minute drive to the airport. The nearest metro stations are Sundby (M1) and Amager Strand (M2). We have two rooms becoming available this summer, so we are going from 4 to 2, but the two of us left, Anders and Mo, are a mixture of international and Danish (although we prefer to speak English), and like to create a cosy atmosphere in the home, where there is plenty of space for both socialising, working on projects, and relaxing in peace – and the occasional party. The photos are outdated, meaning there are several renovations in the kitchen and garden, with a greenhouse currently under construction too, all of which can be seen when we organize a viewing. We are looking for someone who wants to join a home and not just rent a room, who can clean up after themselves, communicate respectfully, and help create a nice atmosphere. Long-term rentals are preferable. We are open to pets, but as mentioned Mo has a cat called Belly, so they will have to get along. Move in as soon as possible.
