I am looking for a roommate to move into a 12m2 room in Risskov, ideally by November. The house is fully furnished, as seen in the pictures, and has a newly renovated kitchen, bathroom, backyard, and car shed. There is an office that I don't use often, which would be perfect if you are a student or need to work from home. The house comes with high-speed internet, and the utilities are included in the cost. I also have a car, so I could help out with moving furniture into your new room. I also have a cat named Han, who loves everyone and enjoys sleeping in your arms when you watch TV. He is also from a shelter, so I'm sure he will have no issue if you bring a pet of your own.
*The House*
The house is located in the northwestern part of Risskov, next to Møllerup Forest. It is in a quiet neighborhood that only has local traffic. It has four rooms: two bedrooms, a living room, and an office. Outside the house, there is a backyard and a garage shed where you can safely store your bike or car. The bathroom and kitchen have both recently been renovated and include all the essentials, plus a little bit more (i.e., the bathroom has heated floors). All the shared rooms are furnished, and the kitchen is stocked with cutlery and plates. The office has a pullout bed in the couch, so if you have friends/family sleeping over or if you don't have a bed yet, it is an option. The house also comes with the cat, which is completely my responsibility, but I am more than happy if you could give him a few pets from time to time. :)
*The Room*
The room that you will be renting is a bright 12m2 room with an east-facing window looking into the backyard. The room has a lot of closet space on the north part of the wall, so there is no need to bring or buy a dresser. The room is also away from the road outside the house, so you won't hear any car noises.
*The Area*
The house is in a small community of houses with lovely neighbors and great greenery. The house is 2 blocks away from a spar, has the 1A bus right next door, and Møllerup Forest very close. It is also quite close to the IKEA and a Silvan in case you need to get furniture.
About Me
My name is Nicolas. I was born and raised in Canada, but I moved to Denmark two years ago and have been living in Aarhus ever since. I work full-time as a chef at the restaurant Hanzo, but I am looking to get an education in Agro Biology once I can speak, read, and write Danish. I love to cook, run, camp, bike, paint, and go to cafes. I am quiet and like to keep to myself for the most part, but I am more than happy to cook together and play board games from time to time.
About You
I like to think I get along with everyone, so come as you are. Gender is not a determining factor, and as long as you know how to keep a house relatively tidy, I think we will get along fine.
Price
The monthly cost of the house will be 3750 DKK, including the cost of utilities. The move-in cost is a two-month rent deposit and a 3750 DKK damage deposit
