If you've been seeking a unique living space that harmoniously blends charm, comfort, and city life, our apartment is for rent for a multi-year period. It's sunlit 121-square-meter penthouse apartment, nestled in the vibrant heart of the creative Nansensgade-quarter with Torvehallerne, crafts shops, micro breweries and Nørreport around the corner. The floorplan actually spands 142 m2, but as it has sloped walls, those m2 under the sloped walls only count half in the official m2 - thus you will feel a south facing apartment that is a lot more spacious than 121 m2.
This home was originally an old attic, but back in 2005, it underwent a total renovation. We wanted to retain its timeless charm, so the wooden beams were preserved and paired with large south-facing windows and balcony. The result is a space that's bright and filled with character. The sun's rays fill the apartment, creating an uplifting environment that never fails to make me feel home.
The large south-facing balcony is my favorite spot for a morning cup of coffee or a peaceful sun-downer. And if you're looking for a bit more solitude or a great place to entertain friends, the private rooftop terrace offers an unparalleled view of the city and view of the local lakes and Dronning Louises Bridge. It's a little piece of tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle.
The apartment has a mid-sized elevator that fits a stroller. You have the metro, S-train, busses and regional trains at Nørreport, five minutes away with direct line to the airport or central station. Plenty of parks and schools around incl. international schools and high schools.
- 3 separate bedrooms (not adjacent)
- Big living room integrated with the kitchen
- Large south-facing balcony
- Private rooftop terrace with access directly from the living room
- Kitchen appliances included
- Possible to get cheap parking on the street through "beboer-licens"
- CPR-possible
- The rooftop terrace is not on the blueprint as it's built 8 years ago. The rooftop is private and only available for our apartment. It's 30 m2 and directly accessible from the living room.
- Rental period is open ended - we look for someone staying long term
Only applicants with stable income and older than 25 years old. Unfortunately not student appropriate. All types of families and partnerships are very welcome. The bedrooms are co-living-friendly as they are not next to each other.
We love pets! Pets are allowed but only with written pre-approval pending the housing board.
We speak Danish, German and English - so please feel free to contact me to schedule a visit. A American family is currently living there and visits needs to be coordinated with them and me. I'm looking forward to showing you around, and possibly handing over the keys to your new home.
It's a rare chance to experience life in such a unique, character-filled apartment in one of Copenhagen's most sought-after locations.
