I am subletting one of my rooms (01.05.2025; 12m2) in my penthouse apartment in Trøjborg, Aarhus N (5 min walk from the university, public transportation, forest, ocean, and shopping). It is furnished with a small double bed, sofa, desk, chair, closet, and shelves. The price is 4800 DKr a month (plus 400 DKr for utilities, incl. internet, electricity, water, heat - i.e., 5200 DKr in total). 5200 DKr deposit. We would be sharing the kitchen and bathroom (washing machine and tumble dryer available for free in the basement). I have a 14-year-old daughter, who is with me half of the week (very quiet, shy, sweet, and loves to read and watch YouTube shorts). I am a Dane adopted from South Korea, 45 years old, easy-going, tidy, PhD in English literature, and teach at AU. In my free time, I read and paint a lot, so mostly quiet activities, but if you ask for my opinion on literary and philosophical matters, I might hazardously respond with a lecture. The length of stay is negotiable.
