About the Apartment
This is a modern two-bedroom apartment on an upper floor, offering spectacular views over the canal. You will be renting one of the bedrooms and sharing the spacious common area, which includes a bright living room with direct access to a 7m² balcony, an open-plan kitchen, and a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, including a dishwasher, and the bathroom has a washing machine and dryer.
The room for rent is approx. 12m², featuring a built-in wardrobe, large windows, and direct access to the balcony, making it bright and airy.
Additionally, the building offers private storage space and bicycle parking in the basement. If you have a car, there is also an option to rent a parking space in the underground garage.
About the Location
The apartment is located in Aarhus Ø, the city’s most modern and vibrant waterfront district, known for its stunning architecture, including The Iceberg and Lighthouse, which can be seen directly from the apartment.
The area offers easy access to a variety of amenities. A Føtex supermarket, pharmacy, gym, and bakeries are all within a few hundred metres, along with a food court, restaurants, cafés, a wine shop, and even an ice cream shop. For recreation, you will find the harbour promenade and outdoor harbour baths just a short walk away, offering plenty of opportunities for swimming, socialising, and enjoying the waterfront.
Despite its central location, the area is calm and quiet, while still being within walking distance of Aarhus city centre, Riis Skov forest, and Aarhus Havnefront.
The apartment is well-connected by public transport, with a bus running approximately every 10 minutes, as well as cycle lanes and pedestrian-friendly paths, making it easy to get around.

About You
I am looking for a respectful, responsible, and tidy flatmate who values a clean and organised home and is willing to contribute to the apartment’s maintenance. I enjoy a calm and relaxed home environment, so I am looking for someone who isn’t into late-night partying at home. Ideally, you are a young professional who is financially responsible for rent and shared costs.
While we will respect each other’s space and privacy, I would love to create a home where we can also enjoy occasional shared activities like cooking, watching films, or having a glass of wine together.
About Me
You will be sharing the apartment with a friendly and social 31-year-old architect who enjoys good conversations over coffee. I am tidy, organised, and value a cosy and well-maintained home, so I appreciate a flatmate who shares these values.
In my free time, I take great pleasure in cooking, practising Pilates, and reading. I also enjoy spending time with friends and occasionally hosting small dinners or wine nights, which you would be more than welcome to join.
